New Contact Lens Wearers
If you have never worn contact lenses before, you will need to undergo training to ensure you are able to safely apply and remove your lenses. Watch this video prior to your appointment to help prepare you for safe & successful contact lens handling. At your appointment, you will also receive important instructions on how to wear, replace, and clean your contacts properly. Your doctor will perform an evaluation of your corneal health and evaluate the contact lens on the eye to determine what contacts will provide an appropriate initial fit and vision.
New contact lens wearers must return to the office at a second appointment to confirm successful adaptation to contact lens wear, receive an evaluation of the diagnostic lenses after they have settled on the eyes, determine if any power changes are needed to refine vision, and receive a finalized contact lens prescription. 🎉
